Arrive right at 9:00 AM opening to have the Chamber of the Twelve Columns nearly to yourself — by mid-morning the narrow entrance passage backs up with tour groups. It closes promptly at 4:45 PM, so plan your visit for the morning or early afternoon.

Opening (9:00am–11:00am)
The quietest and best-lit time to visit — the marble chamber and garden tombs are calm and photograph beautifully before the queue builds.
Midday (11:00am–2:00pm)
The busiest window of the day, as tour buses and group visits queue at the narrow entrance passage.
Afternoon (2:00pm–4:45pm)
Crowds thin out again as groups move on to their next stop. The site closes promptly at 4:45 PM (last entry 4:15 PM), so leave enough time before then.
