Tickets are sold at the entrance passage — adults pay 70 MAD, with free entry for children and a discounted rate for Moroccan residents (see below). Cash only.

Other costs to budget for
Beyond the entrance ticket, a few optional extras are paid for elsewhere in the Medina — and prices are rarely fixed. Agree on one before you accept:
- Unofficial guides offering a tour of the tombs outside the entrance
- Henna application from street artists nearby
- Photos with performers or trained animals in the Kasbah square
- Guided tours of the tombs or wider Medina
